Why we carry Hormel Meats
As you know we have carried Boars Head since the day we opened and still believe in the quality of that brand. However, we have found something even better in our opinion. Natural Choice Meats are a brand new line of meat from Hormel and we are the first deli in San Diego to carry it.
The reason for the change was simple, less is more!
It is very important for you to check the label of what you are eating. It's not about the marketing on the front of the package, it is about the list of the ingredients on the back.
You want to find the shortest list of natural ingredients possible. Minimally processed food, closest to its most natural form is what you should be eating. (just like our GoodOnYa bar)
Our Turkey’s list: Turkey Breast Meat, Sea Salt, Turbinado Sugar and Water. That’s it!
Boar’s Head is Good…………Natural Choice is
