I just wanted to comment on how wonderful I believe your staff to be.
At least 3 times/ week, I visit the deli to have breakfast or lunch
and I am consistently greeted with smiles and more recently—a big "Hi
Nikita".
I thoroughly enjoy visiting the deli, as the ladies there seem to work
as team to get my order completed, while keeping me entertained with
brief discussions of the day's events, weekend plans, etc, (if the
line isn't long).
On a professional level, I make orders for various committee meetings
and the members consistently comment on how good their lunches taste.
Yesterday, I was delighted to see the extra care placed on the order
with something simple as garnishing a tray of wraps. The delivery of
my order is always timely and I was even contacted by phone to ensure
that certain items &snacks were not needed for my meeting.
Please know that I if I receive service that is unprofessional and low
quality, you would receive an email-- immediately. I write this email
with the same zeal to inform you that I believe the customer service I
received from your staff goes above and beyond service one could
experience at another deli.

I wanted to take the time to give you some feedback about your team at the Good on Ya Deli in Sky Park. I'm no coffee connoisseur and I'm not all that particular about my cup of coffee. I continue going to Good on Ya because of the friendly atmosphere created by the staff. My morning visit (sometimes afternoon too) is always enjoyable because of the way I'm treated there. The girls have made the effort to learn my name and greet me by name when I come in. They even pretend to laugh at my lame attempts at humor.
I doubt many people contact you with positive feedback and I want to let you know that from my perspective things are going quite well over there. I can get coffee anywhere, but I choose to get it at Good on Ya because of Alice, Natasha and the rest of the team. Please have them keep up the good work.

Just letting you know that I have observed the employees at your Sky Park Court "Good on Ya" Deli doing strange and uncommon things you should know about.
They have been making me lunches that are well beyond what the menu calls for. The ingredients of the lunch include of course the general fare, but then they go beyond the menu by applying their great personalities, smearing large quantities of friendliness and smiles and kind words and often including spontaneous humor and even laughing out loud at the customer's corny jokes. I'm telling you I'll not tolerate this kind of behavior for more than 3 of 4 more years. They make lunch an experience that I actually look forward to several days a week.
I just thought you should know of their strange and uncommon behavior, and the way that they treat their customers. I don't know with what magic you attract strange people like these but after observing them for some time now, I suspect they are not paid what they deserve to be paid. You might look into that and maybe find a little increase would be merited.

Love the new snack bars at Sky West Park location. "Incredible!" in
a word...I think you have a major hit here, I like them refrigerated. Vegan
and Raw, I am just going to start meal planning using you guys at Goodonya...Also
of note is the Hummus is now much better, still adjusting taste buds to less
salt, but again another home run. Have you guys ever thought of offering 16
oz containers of the hummus or a discount for 5 or more snack bars...Thanks

Good Morning Kris,
I happened to stumble across your website for the first time today and decided
to offer some advice. I've been habituating your Carmel Valley store for about
18 months now; more or less on a daily basis. I have seen about 3 generations
of crews behind the counter and have to say that the current bunch is truly
a cut above the norm, although I still miss Jackson's zany hair. On top of
the friendly banter and the typically well crafted wise cracks, the service
is excellent; the food even better.
The one thing that amazes me more than anything else is the consistent delivery
of a good cup of coffee. I have ordered the same cup every day (let's say more
than 300 over the last year and a half) and only once was it even slightly
less than perfect. One in 350 is significantly less than 1% of the time and
that's pretty damn good for anything.
The advice I was going to offer is pretty simple: what ever you're doing in that store you need to keep doing. I've been in business for 30 years or so and I have proven to myself over and over that I do NOT buy product, I buy service, and that precisely is why I come back to your store day after day after day.
Now if you could just develop a way of serving more than one person at a time; keeping your register person from taking phone orders at high time; and serving Heineken, I'd never leave!!! In other words, my only criticism is that your too good!!

I work at Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley and I often dine at your place there. I am a turkey sandwich with mayo person and that's about it. No extras.
Well, yesterday, June 4th, I had THE BEST SANDWICH EVER at your deli! The lunch special was a peppered turkey sandwich with cilantro humuus, honey mustard and cheddar. I gave it a try and it was SOOOO DELICIOUS!! told all my co-workers about it!

I like the fact that the food is fresh and high quality while being balanced with an awareness for the origin of the food. In particular, the fact that you take into account vendors from those countries or regions of the world that practice good environmental behavior, grow organic food, or, perhaps the most important for me, ensuring that the vendors/suppliers from foreign countries are being paid the best price for their labor, are all very important factors. Perhaps your practice of this and my knowledge of it makes a better tasting meal?!
Also, very much appreciate the creativity of the menu items since I love to mix all sorts of foods and the flexibility or willingness to accommodate when one wants to make minor changes to the suggested combination, be it a sandwich or salad.
All of these things keep me coming back repeatedly. Underlying the freshness, creativity, and social consciousness, however, is the dedication and the friendliness of the crew (-starting with Alice!). They are customer-focused, an idea that seems to be less and less enveloped in a lot of businesses these days. They are accommodating and appear to genuinely care, and do what they can, to ensure that you'll have a good meal experience.
You have a great deli and great employees working hard and doing a fine job of it all!
