Organic Trade Association

About Us

GoodOnYa was founded in the summer of 2001. The founding principles are simple. Some of which were there from inception and others have evolved over time. Customers, employees and experience have shaped us into what I believe is a lot more than just the deli by your office.  However, our core will always remain the same, healthy, great tasting food, and really Good coffee.

We learned there were thousands of choices to be made. The principles beyond health have grown into creating a corporation with strong core values. The quality of every product we choose, and every company we choose to work with is described in detail on our vendor page.  Below is a little more about us.

Our values:

Our staff. We pay people a competitive wage. We offer health insurance for all employees, and a matching IRA. Incredible for a company of our size. We try and create a fun, personal atmosphere so people enjoy coming to work, and when you visit it is a much needed break from the rigors of your day.

Personal development: Coaching was and still is a big part of my life.

Balance: Sure our bread is Organic and our Meat is grain fed. But we aren’t a “health food” shop. We have found a way to make healthy food taste Good, but also believe in treating yourself, as we often do!

So yes, you can eat a brownie (but it is homemade) a pastry or other dessert (fresh, no preservative and kosher) or even one of our famous mochas (hormone free milk, pure high quality chocolate and fresh espresso).

If you are going to indulge you don’t have to sacrifice taste, or health, at GoodOnYa

We also opened in your business park so we can enjoy our weekends with our family and friends. We try and incorporate balance into our lives in every way. This includes a flexible schedule for our staff. Other part time jobs don’t offer time off without the threat of lost shifts or loss of their job. We fill in for each other so there is a life for everyone outside of work.

A Local Company: We  believe that supporting other local, small businesses in San Diego benefits the greater Good! Check out our vendor page for some links to great San Diego Businesses.

So for you it’s simple. You can walk to our shop everyday and get great food and also feel Good about it.  And in corporate America today, it’s certainly nice to know there are companies you can feel Good about supporting.

Thank you for being a part of our day.
